Maybe they don’t had the time or money to make new pics and so they used a pic from the earlier movie people may remember. But it’s disappointing if you can’t see him in chaps and the clothes as announced. The (colorized) lobby card showing a light red or orange shirt, a light green scarf and yellow suspenders. The shirt appeared white at least on this scene (which is at 22 minutes). The dark higher hat looks like from an early scout uniform. There is also a woman shown wearig a cowboy hat. Not sure in which movie, I didn’t pay attention to that.
Maybe a typical b&w western of it’s time. 55 minutes, fullscreen. Story by Barry Barringer (“Zane Grey’s The Dude Ranger”, directed by Robert Emmett Tansey who did lots of similar B movies. Produced by Superior Talking Pictures.
I didn’t had the time to watch the complete movie at slow speed. But it looks much better than The Cowboy and the Bandit. But I don’t remember riding scenes here.
I like classics and chaps, but I prefer blond actors, jeans, overalls and the like. So rating 4-5 for now.
