C’era una volta il West

Western starring Charles Bronson
-Year: 1968
-Country: Italy, USA, Spain
-Who in clothing: Timmy ~9 ?
-Available on DVD: yes
-B&W or color: color
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: low
-Rating: 4/10
-Rating: ****
-Comment: I think Enzo Santaniello, redhaired and freckled in a white shirt. Red long pants, later dark grey shorter pants. Quite unusual and not the typical brown and beige pants.

Had been aired yesterday.

Of course I have seen it several times before, even recently. But now I have recorded it (partly).

Probably one of the most famous westerns, at least it’s musical score by Ennio Morricone. Directed by Sergio Leone. Filmed in Technicolor.

Interesting movie, but somehow it gets kinda boring soon after the beginning. I’m not sure if I have ever seen the end of it. But I don’t expect better scenes. Some good close up scenes of his face (including the famous music).

Rating 4-5 for now.

Cahill U.S. Marshal

Western starring John Wayne
-Year: 1973
-Country: USA
-Who in clothing:  Billy Joe ~11
-Available on DVD: yes
-B&W or color: color
-I own: no
-Clothing occurence: medium ?
-Rating: 5/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: Clay O’Brien in typical brown clothes including a hat and beige pants. There’ also at least one other boy, his film bother (Scott Walker ?), maybe in similar clothes. I think both riding.

Quite interesting and maybe I have seen this western but can’t remember it.

Clay O’Brien also starred in The Cowboys (1972), rating 6, The Apple Dumpling Gang (1975), rating 5, LHOTP and Gunsmoke (rating 9 on my overalls blog).

He is blond and handsome, at least in later movies. I think, I somehow don’t like him and his clothes much in this movie.

Rating 5 for now but needs to be rechecked.

Bonanza – s1e19

Western series starring Lorne Greene
-Year: 1959-1973
-Country: USA
-Who in clothing:  boy ~8
-Available on DVD: yes
-B&W or color: color
-I own: yes, partly TV recording
-Clothing occurence: medium
-Rating: 5/10
-Rating: *****
-Comment: A young blond, I think uncreditedy boy in grey blue pants and flat hat, a grey vest and green shirt. His pants has a hole on the bottom showing his underwear. Sorry it’s just a patch. S1e19 “The Gunmen” (1960, maybe filmed in 1959).

Interesting and handsome boy but very young. Later also a scene outside. Also interesting room and bed. He is also tied to the side of the bed.

I missed the beginning and only have checked the end at high speed.

In s1e20 there is an older, I think Asian teen boy. But probably no need to show him.

Main entry, previously rated 4, now 5 (maybe rising more as series is currently running) at
