By coincidence I later found a boy (Danny Flower ?) in bib overalls in s13e9 (pic 1, more pics and infos soon on my overalls blog).

Pic 5 showing a young lady in a Cowboy hat in s1e15, maybe Sheila Ryan?

Rating at least 5-6 for now. More episodes needs to be rechecked. Only partly on DVD.

Take Me to Town

takemetotown1953

Western, comedy film. Ann Sheridan
-Year: 1953
-Country: USA
-Who in clothing: boys ~5, 7, 9 ?
-Available on DVD: no
B&W or color: color
-I own: no, partly TV recording ?
-Clothing occurence: medium ?
-Rating: 5/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: 3 young, blonde boys (motherless) in nice Western clothes and hats. Not sure about their names. One is probably Mickey Little (*1941, “Annie Oakley”, Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriett), others maybe Jimmy Karath (1942-2014) and Jerry Wayne. The latter one is credited as boy on IMDb but born in 1916. Probably another mistake there. The 3rd boy (on right ?) is obviously Lee Aaker (*1943, “Hondo“, The Brush Roper), up to rating 8.

Interesting movie, but I only have checked it roughly. I think, I have seen it many years ago. The boys also wore red striped bathing costumes.

Rating 5-6 for now. Boys are very young. Needs to be rechecked the next airing. I think not officially on DVD.

-Rating: 5/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: At least Canadian Zachary Bennett in beige bib overalls and a straw hat (looking like Huck Finn, but isn’t)

As this is a story about grown up Tom and Huck, the setting must be around 1870s (or even later around 1900s).

This movie is now available on DVD, but I still haven’t seen it completetly.

One more pic, from an old, partial VHS recording on my bib overalls blog, rating 5.
